The Ceremony Booklet: a poetic thread woven through your wedding

A personalized non-religious ceremony booklet

Since I began working as a celebrant, I’ve always enjoyed holding a beautiful object in my hands during the ceremony. For a long time, I used Paperblanks journals — refined, poetic, and perfectly suited to the emotional nature of the moment. But over time, I wanted to go further: to create something truly unique for each couple.

Today, every celebration begins with a custom-made ceremony booklet, more than just a beautiful notebook. It is entirely handmade by a discreet yet talented artisan. Together, we design a tailor-made cover, inspired by the wedding theme, the invitation colors, the chosen typography, or simply the essence of the couple as I describe it. A true wedding keepsake or ceremony book, it becomes a precious vessel for the words spoken that day.

Each ceremony begins with the right words… carefully printed and gathered in a unique booklet.

A handcrafted and heartfelt object

Wedding guest reading aloud from a ceremony booklet during the celebration

This booklet is far more than an accessory. It contains the entire ceremony: speeches, rituals, songs, translations, readings. It stands as a silent witness to every word shared. I use it throughout the ceremony — holding it in my hands or placing it on a lectern — and then offer it to the couple as a gift.

Some couples use it as a guestbook; others leave it out for guests to leaf through during the evening or weekend celebrations. It becomes a lasting and meaningful memento. A true symbolic object of the wedding, it carries the magic well beyond the celebration itself.

No plastic or technology

A witness reads an emotional text, holding the booklet in a natural, floral setting.

In a world where everything passes through screens, I’ve chosen paper, craftsmanship, and authenticity. No tablets, no plastic binders. For me, these would break the spell. The ceremony booklet materializes presence, care, and human connection. It is a true accessory for non-religious weddings — designed to enhance the moment.

A promise for every couple

Every couple receives their own booklet. It’s always included in my services because it embodies the level of personalization I value so deeply. Every ceremony deserves an object crafted especially for it.

A surprise on the big day

As with the ceremony itself, the content of the booklet remains a surprise until the wedding day. It adds to the emotion, the magic, the wonder. The story is written for you — and revealed in front of you.

Each booklet tells a story

Each cover is unique. Some echo the flowers in the bouquet, others the marine tones of a seaside wedding. You’ll find colorful bindings, botanical textures, recycled papers, minimalist or floral designs. Everything is created to reflect the couple’s world. Each piece becomes a wedding souvenir in its own right — far more than a simple ceremony booklet — beautiful and full of meaning.

A unique keepsake from your ceremony

This booklet is more than a prop or a script — it’s the soul of your ceremony, an object that will stay with you long after the wedding day. Because words deserve to be preserved. Because every love story deserves a keepsake that lasts.

I often test the sound by greeting the first few guests to arrive — it lets me check the acoustics and break the ice at the same time.

A one-of-a-kind keepsake for your wedding

The ceremony booklet comes to life through textures, colors, and thoughtfully designed layout. Handmade in France, it is the result of careful craftsmanship. Each model tells a visual story: floral motifs, natural materials, graphic details inspired by calligraphy or wedding invitations.

*As this address indicates, I live in Lot-et-Garonne in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, on the border between Landes and Gironde, close to Gers, Tarn-et-Garonne and Haute-Garonne in the Occitanie region.  Toulouse, Bordeaux, Auch and Agen are the nearest towns. And as I celebrate weddings in English and German (and sometimes in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese), I can travel anywhere in France and even Germany... or anywhere else!
